This is a little different take on converting sales into meaningful sales. We recently posted The Instant Guru Blueprint special sales page online. This was the first such solicitation not through email and of course our subscriber’s got a discounted subscriber only page though the PowerPlayPlus newsletter as promised. I should note the subscriber’s also received unannounced bonuses we like to do as a rule. We the results we better than expected. In one day both pages combined to sell out almost half of the allotments in total. One for the non-subscriber and one for the subscriber. The conference call
TeamPowerPlay, Janet-Kiri-Tonya-Nyomi-myself and Rich Naran had our daily “whats up” call this morning. Now you have to understand we look at the business first and Rich looks at the world. In comparison our news wasn’t all that earthshaking compared to the Blockbuster Video franchise downsizing and news of the world hunger situation worsening.

There are a number of people starving worldwide
The World Food Program reports that more people are suffering from hunger. Overall donations both at the same time are at an extreme lowpoint. This is aggravated by world food prices staying high with no promise of coming down. That’s a double hit of the dollar being less and per dollar purchase yield is now less.

The other sales conversion
It’s no secret we are hanging here to make money. Part of our goal is to make a difference by helping those who are trying to make money as well. Of course our priority is online but in a few short years, 80% plus of all businesses will have have to conduct some part of their business online. Kiva is the international non-profit agency that converts donations to loans for third world countries. If you read their site some parts of North America also qualify in their guidelines. Rich registered and we picked the client all while on the call. You will now find the Kiva logo on our site. And for us that is just the tip of the iceberg of converting sales in meaningful sales.

What are you doing with your Twitter? If you want to be an online force don’t be trying to make your King of the Tweeps and Twitterlebrity. You can and need be something more.

Internet Marketing, Twitter and Your Tweeps
If you want to be an Internet Marketer and you are not on Twitter power, your whacked. I know what your thinking. Twitter is going to the way of Facebook. That’s not your worry at this this. It’s a power tool you can be using now. Employed properly and you can drive traffic to your pages. There is a segment of Twitter users that are on to share and seek information. These are the former magazine readers who are turning to the Internet in droves. They don’t want to be sold but they love to buy. You just have to do it right.

The primary step
First you want to establish yourself. The best way to get attention is to retweet quality post. Not just those with links but those that actually have something to say. Your tweeps will come to adore you. As you build a following promote your articles infrequently. Now, take note no sales pages just good quality content. In the course of a few weeks you can increase your article promotion but don’t overwhelm them. State at three or four a day while retweeting regularly and just tweeting your own words of wisdom. Of course your are a marketer chomping at the bit to sell. By your third week try three different products offer the course of the week. My suggestion is once a day each. Be honest, up front and no tricks, let them know it is a sell. They like you so your honesty will be welcome. Keep the mix up. Try not to mix in article that are really jump pages to a sales. In fact forget doing the jumplink page at all. No one likes it. You do it and they won’t like you.

The thing here
Is to ease it in. Don’t flood the tweets with sell, sell, sell. What I am trying to do for you is to to get our friend, Rich Naran, who we all seem to lean on to do a sit down with me about Twitter and Twitter strategy. Rich has a formula which he uses to boost his overall site traffic using Twitter. He also has a strategy for getting quality tweeps. Seriously, I have seen the numbers and he is working magic with quality and not quantity tweeps.
