Hello Tonya here
The linking game is an an essential to your traffic attracting strategy. There are tons of linking theories where people will tell you and sell you as the definitive answer. The real definitive answer to any claims of the “ultimate linking” or “ultimate traffic getting strategy” is that there is no such thing. As proof, Jeff Johnson offers a free version of his “Traffic getting Wordpress blog plugin”. The plugin has been upgraded three times in the past two months. (You do have this plugin right? If not click here it’s free, it works, and you need to have it, so check it now!)
Why there are no definitive strategies
Google never plays kiss and tell. To make matters more complicated their master plan is constantly changing and the whole linking and traffic game is fluid. It’s kind of like the saying, “Just when I though I had all the answers, they changed the questions.” Google prides itself in keeping everyone a step behind.
The answer
Try different strategies. Even smarter is to apply different strategies within the same site. Avoid being set in your ways. Never give into the next highly touted “ultimate shortcut” theory. And finally don’t be afraid to go occasionally through in a little gray and black hat. A key to testing is to create free blog sites independent of you main cluster. You do this through your offshore email accounts as I like to call them and don’t ever connect them in anyway to you or your money sites even remotely. The rewards are worth the effort. Just as an aside one such site accidentally began to generate a profit for us and had to be taken mainstream. In turn it was flipped for a nice little sum. How disappointed can you be about generating an income by mistake? (Sorry, we won’t kiss and tell…at least about that one)
The money tip
Follow a successful set of specific Internet Marketing Gurus both by email and through Twitter. The great way is to set up a separate Twitter and email account for just that. You then only have to check them once a day. Don’t use those accounts for anything else and you will be virtually spam free. If you have business relationship with them conduct that in your normal email account only.
Comeback to get more on linking and traffic. You’ll be glad you did.

The team and myself have been monitoring the latest releases in webpage graphics. No exaggeration there could be as many as a million “new” graphics offered in sets. Many very eye catching. The competition is high and the cost currently are low but before you order “Hold that thought.”Graphic Overkill is not only a sin but worse than breaking a nail before a date.

Graphics slow down the loading of your page. Yes operating systems are faster. Download connections are faster. Still, you have to remember over one-third of all internet users are still on slower connections. Not all broadband is created equal. Much of it is diluted by the time it gets to someone’s modem. Oh yeah, there are still million who are stuck using dial up. While there are many techniques to optimizing your graphics, you still need to be diligent in there usage. Your goal is to have your be graphics effective. Keep in mind that marathon sales page you just created will be scanned and not read by 97% of your visitors that decide to read it at all. Google Analytics show that less than half of all visitors will get to the finishline before clicking out.

The survey shows, that uberflashing graphic you fell in love with just sent your buyers to your competitors page. I was checking out four product sales pages today with the same problem. Their graphics were flashing worse than some park perv in a raincoat. Trust me they all turn people off and away. Your words, your product and your design have to meld together. Flashing (on all accounts) screams desperate, destitute, and questionable character. If you do use them, use descretion.
A word to the wise from a wise guy
As my late brother always says ( no he’s not dead just always late for everything):
“You gotta watch what cho do. Turnin’ away ya customeers is worse zen leavin’ dollaas on the table.”
He talks funny like that when making a point. People seem to listen.
