Hi Tonya here
Face it you didn’t do it, I can tell you why without even looking at your salespage or copy. You purchased a program, maybe a domain name and a webhost. You bookmarked and posted several blogs. You tweeted. You posted on your other social media feeds. Still no sale. Was it your price? Probably not.
A Web 2.0 fault
Let’s go back to what seduced you to go into Internet Marketing online. In our recent group surveys the majority of attempting Internet Marketers in an overwhelming majority cited the lure of a low maintenance business. The Field Of Dreams mentality still exists in spite of the info you have at your fingertips that tells you it doesn’t exist. The magic of creating a sale still depends on what you do. Yes, a Frank Kerns or a Jeff Johnson even an Andy Jenkins can put their name to a product and it sells. They built their “Net Cred.” You still have to. But there is a step by step formula to help you make that sale and build your own “Net Cred.” It all starts with being real.
A case in point
Andy Jenkins promoted a product called Formula 5 through Stompernet. Let’s analyze aspects of that promotion. Did Andy just rely on his “Net Cred’ alone to sell the product? The guy certainly could have and drawn descent sales. No, he gave you a series of infomercials that broke down the product. The idea is you believed Andy believed in this product because he could talk to you about it. He can give you “insider” info. Andy Jenkins at the time already had built his “Field of Dreams” several times in fact. As you followed along, you got the impression the man wasn’t just selling a product. You felt Andy cared and believed in what he was selling. As he has left Stompernet, Andy Jenkins will do it again.
The starting steps to sell by:
An important credo:
Don Crowther whom we got to know through the Stompernet “SMARTS Club” always prefaces each lesson with three words. Ignoring those three words will do in 90% of the aspiring new internet marketers out there. Of all only 5% follow through to the end to get that sale. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You just have to follow Sir Don’s Crowther’s credo: Just Do This.
We practice what we preach here
You and I both have had the pleasure of encountering someone who gave you guidelines or rules, you know very well they didn’t follow. Sometimes it was a teacher, a boss, or even parent or mentor. We practice the very things we tell you to do.
Success depends on consistency
That’s your success as well as ours. We are slowly putting up products online for sale. Because we have a formula for screening and constructing a product offering. We use much the same process that Andy Jenkins used in before promoting Formula 5. (See our blogpost: Configuring a Product Offering) Our credo is “Learn and Earn.” What we do is not only sell you a product to learn from. That same product is geared to be used for you to resell. No one can give you guarantees. No one has the miracle that will put you into the top 1%. You have it already. Buy, learn and sell. That’s the rhythm to long term success. It’s been around for centuries and it’s the technique that has withstood the test of time. “Buy, learn and sell” is at the foundation of every successful sales million made through reselling products. “Just do it.”
The final days of the two products we offer based on that principle at current prices.
The “How To Sell Online Package”
Get into the rhythm “Buy, Learn and Sell”
and you will make that sale online.
The Internet Marketing Quick Tips
With Rich
Podcast

Kiri & Rich

I only released the short giveaway report, The Backfiring Strategies, on Monday actually unannounced and received some great reviews. Quite a few people also asked me the same darn question, What’s the Catch Here? Frankly I was left stunned. That never happened to me more than occasionally in past releases. The quantity of such responses in less than 12 hours this time was mindboggling at least to me. Again it wasn’t a publicized release.
.
The Backfiring Strategies
The idea is what the concept of this site and my Internet Marketing Quick Tips With Rich podcast are about. It is simply getting information you can use in you own marketing strategies to you. It’s a simple technique you succeed I (we) succeed. I come from the Ed Dale-Jeff Johnson-Brad Fallon-Andy Jenkins-Don Crowther School of marketing (Try fitting that on a letterhead) You have to keep in mind the online market is forever changing. What worked yesterday probably won’t work tomorrow. Sharing trends and customer feedback it a way to grow all our businesses.
.
About those trends
I did receive a few responses that said they were seeing slight or no such in a few of the trends mentioned as of yet. Conversely, a number of people indicated they had just started to split test for these problems. The report is not about answers. It’s about alerting you to realize you have start looking for answers now. Success doesn’t come from following the trends alone. It comes from finding what works today and searching for what may work tomorrow. If you find a trend you think you are going to forever weigh anchor with, chances are you are going to wind up dead in the water and lost at sea.

Happy Sales to you!

This is a little different take on converting sales into meaningful sales. We recently posted The Instant Guru Blueprint special sales page online. This was the first such solicitation not through email and of course our subscriber’s got a discounted subscriber only page though the PowerPlayPlus newsletter as promised. I should note the subscriber’s also received unannounced bonuses we like to do as a rule. We the results we better than expected. In one day both pages combined to sell out almost half of the allotments in total. One for the non-subscriber and one for the subscriber. (Hint you may want to check it out the non-subscriber link is at the bottom-Nyomi)
The conference call
TeamPowerPlay, Janet-Kiri-Tonya-Nyomi-myself and Rich Naran had our daily “whats up” call this morning. Now you have to understand we look at the business first and Rich looks at the world. In comparison our news wasn’t all that earthshaking compared to the Blockbuster Video franchise downsizing and news of the world hunger situation worsening.
There are a number of people starving worldwide
The World Food Program reports that more people are suffering from hunger. Overall donations both at the same time are at an extreme lowpoint. This is aggravated by world food prices staying high with no promise of coming down. That’s a double hit of the dollar being less and per dollar purchase yield is now less.
The other sales conversion
It’s no secret we are hanging here to make money. Part of our goal is to make a difference by helping those who are trying to make money as well. Of course our priority is online but in a few short years, 80% plus of all businesses will have have to conduct some part of their business online. Kiva is the international non-profit agency that converts donations to loans for third world countries. If you read their site some parts of North America also qualify in their guidelines. Rich registered and we picked the client all while on the call. You will now find the Kiva logo on our site. And for us that is just the tip of the iceberg of converting sales in meaningful sales.
Here is Rich’s post on this same event.

Hello everyone Kiri here
An interesting and awesome thing is happening in our copy and paste email versus newsletter campaign split testing. The copy and paste emails were opened more than 3 to 1. The newsletter in turn produced better open to conversions 4 to 1. On top of that we split test the newsletter with a different subject line. In a way it’s sad to say only 5 of those test subject line newsletters were ever opened. When you think about it, that’s purely painful. Now think about this, 4 out of the 5 converted. In this case the operation was a failure but heck, the patient survived anyway.
Copy and Paste VS Newsletter format
You know the deal the vendor sends you the templates and you quickly load it into your autoresponder and flood them into the mass of other copy and paste emails in your list members inboxes. As I noted our newsletters have a lower open rate but higher number…not ratio…but sheer total number of conversions. Are TeamPowerPlay’s actual costs the same? YES!! Is TeamPowerplay’s increased time factor being well conpensated, YES!! YES!! YES!! Are we at OnlineIncomePowerplay done with split testing? WE WILL NEVER STOP!!!! and neither should you.
.
.
About that 4 out of 5
We noted 2 things. Our headline sucked. It doesn’t get any more obvious than that with a 5 count open rate. That’s lower than 1%. How embarrassing is that. The 4 conversions do confirm the newsletters are being read more. This agrees with the pattern of the newsletter’s number of conversions being much higher than the copy and paste templates. They also show a possibility toward achieving increased profits with newsletters over emails. That is that point you have to take home with you. Keep in mind the 4 out of 5 conversion count in itself is an anomaly. TeamPowerPlay can only wish that the ratio in our normal newsletter headlines open to conversion rate were anywhere near that 80%
.
The reality factor
When you are doing multiple campaigns and as most of our subscribers appear to be only a team of one or two, time is a precious commodity. What you have to think about is, if you are sending out less campaigns and getting higher conversions… are the profits worth your time? Keep in mind the newsletter has to have value and conform to your business brand while meeting your prospects needs in some way. The key to any overall success in online email marketing is continual split testing. If you aren’t bothering to look for the edge, your competitors will find it for you.
